We met him he had just gotten his poems in a book & received trophy & recognition.
We celebrated him and .I casually asked him if he had a poem of clowns.................
When we visited him again  he gave us this gift.Written October 5,2007 he types it on an old typewriter so cute. We love him.

When you're down ant out
and you want to shout
Call in a Clown
they'll never let you down".

"They Smile and dance
with their striking appearance and
they love to prance
and also to enhance".

"All  their friends with a smile
and they'll hang around for a while
Until you can't help but laugh
and they'll play their phonograph".

"They are such great palls
and they make everyone laugh be they boys or gals
They just love to mingle
whether the audience be married or single".
"So here's to a laugh or two
You feel it's coming to you
If you only learn to laugh with the clowns
Who will never let you down".
